Do you know the women in Kobani?

If you are a woman, living in a good home and have a decent job what are your concerns in life? Higher wage? Better schooling for your children? Bigger house? Working extra hours to be able to buy a big diamond? Well, if you are a woman and have the worst life concerns, you should meet women in Kobani!

When our biggest concern is paying bills, there are women on some spot in the world, you probably never heard of, are putting on uniforms and hold weapons to keep their children safe!

With ISIS trying to seize major cities along the Euphrates River in Syria, and strategic locations in Iraq, Kobani makes another important target. Women of Kobani, a city between the Turkish-Syrian boarders, have been fighting for weeks to keep ISIS away from their homes and families.

Arin, a young brave comrade women, had bombed herself to blow up her wholly body among many ISIS fighters. She was successful killing a large number of ISIS fighters, and stop their movement closer to the city.

Was Arin the only women who gave her youth and life to defend her land? No! She is one of too many whose effort should never be returned void!

Today, the cause is bigger than domestic violence. Our fear is more than child labor and early marriages. Women are losing their lives by the most brutal creatures on earth. They are losing their lives by those who does not deserve to live. This has to stop!

We live in different countries and the distance seems too far, but we feel the pain and we are committed. As part of world pulse family I call every single and each one of you to support and raise the voice of these fighters while you can. They may have not thought of it, but we want to be there them.

Today, we want to tell Kobai women, you are NOT alone. We share your pain and fear, even though we know you have no fear. We will support your cause. I may not be able to carry a weapon today, but I know I can be the voice you want the world to hear.

She is a mother. She gives birth, hurts her bones…She works hard and stands alone.
She is a sister, caring and brave, ask her help and she is there to save!
She is faithful, strong, and kind, every time we miss her…she is working hard!
She is woman in a fighting zone, carried her weapon and fought along.

We need the world support. We need those women to receive the maximum attention and care. The more people know about them, the bigger their chance to receive help. I am not a politician to end this war, but I am a human being, and I desperately ask the world through my world, world pulse, that women in Kobani deserves better lives. If they cannot access their least rights of being safe, someone is not doing his/her job right!
