Lets Create More Value Online

Community Championship program is coming to an end and this will be my closing post. I am not stopping here and the effort is endless. Today, I want to wrap up my job search training series by sending a shout out to world pulse management for giving me the opportunity to put my work knowledge into a broader community. I also want to thank all those who messaged me with questions and commented on posts. I am glad my ideas and recommendations helped some of you find the job search a little easier.

I honestly think this training serious has little to do with technology and innovation group. I think it was more toward economic development. I must admit that I was leaning more toward economic development and sometimes leadership in my writing. But, I feel this can be done differently and I know we can always make changes. So, I decided to turn to you for more innovative ideas. Yes, no one can be more innovative than a group of women who decided to have faith in each other without meeting one another in person.

I have few questions and I am hoping some of you invest in their time and try to brainstorm some thoughtful answers. If you were to become an online recruiter, how would you help women find jobs? What do you think the most effective and creative way to link women to employers? How do we make women online presence more valuable to organizations? Can we create more online jobs? What can be done online?

As a recruiter, I receive calls from women looking to work from home constantly. Why don’t we have that anymore? Perhaps, we do, but do we have enough opportunities for women to work from their own spots. May be there isn’t much to do online that’s why more woman have to relocate, or physically be somewhere to work when it is not always convenient. So, can we create a need for an online job? Something beyond translation and online posting. Technology is rapidly improving and changing our lives. How can we create more use of technology rather than hunting Pokemons?

You feedback is HIGHLY appreciated. No response is ever wrong or too small.

Love,

Shahd
