Native Women of Canada Survived the Longest and Most Violent Act of Cultural Genocide!

Story
Native women are essential for family, communities and nations across North America. Native women were a huge part of the economy before contact, they were translators, and food providers for family. They carried the "name's" of the family carried down for thousands of years (since our beginning of time) and even rivers and regions were named after native women. After colonization the destruction of the normal native society and women's lives shattered under the Indian Act.
What was shattered?
1) language
2) economy
3) educators
4) stories
5) way of life (societies)
6) travel
7) harvesting
8) names & ceremonies for names
9) spirituality
10) identity
11) governance of nations and environment
12) justice - if a native woman was raped and murdered? If the man was captured, he was sentenced to give up all his lands, possessions, and he was become banished from the territory - which usually meant death, for hurting a woman - because she was recognized as a life giver. Women are the center of their nation, their communities and families.
I' have been campaigning for many years, but in order to collect research I have to have:
1) expenses
2) new computer
3) lap top
4) Ipad
5) travel
6) four culturally appropriate rounds, with food - to feed the guests who come forward to speak
7) a give away for the elders - which is appropriate to give them quilts - and I need a sewing machine, so I need a sewing machine.
8) hire someone to sew the quilts and buy fabric
9) posters, news prints, and justice questionnaire to reach 1000 women
