  1. I start with my body.  Everything else stems from it.  Physical fitness and wellness are an important prerequisite for self-care.

  • Work out regularly

  • Stay on top of health issues as they arise



 



2.  I take care of my mind.  Taking of my mind requires engaging myself on an intellectual level.  Mental wellness is important to overall wellness.

3.  I take care of my emotions.  Emotional well being is what helps me cope better with the demands of life.

My desire is that all women would be empowered to prioritize caring for themselves.  I hope in some small way writing about it inspires someone today.  It's not all that hard, neither is it selfish.  Its maximizing your energy to enable you to achieve all that you are meant to be.
