Ahhh... The Possibilities!!

The Web has been good to me… as a human, as a person, as a woman. And it keeps getting better. I often make the joke: “The Internet is the ‘tech’ arm of Goddess!!”

It just seemed to ‘appear’ as a resource, out of thin air, to solve ‘connection’ needs critical to us females, busy living our lives, working hard, concentrating on responsibilities, otherwise bound up from any chance to communicate, really, on those important things to Life and simply good Living…

I had a vision of global community, ever since I got the incredible ‘download’ or inspiration to found ‘Human Quality Headquarters’… I began with my website which went very easily, contrary to all the talk that this would be a challenge. I innovated with that and started the discussion on Quality of Life via that means, along with a mailing list. This got quite cumbersome and I could tell it was competing with other mails being posted, so I needed to innovate a little more. By then it was clear that emphasis needed to be on discussion and not just expression.

So my blogging began, and this is where the joy of 2.0 emerged because all of a sudden, I had an avenue… if not an audience (yet!)… to express all those views that were bottled up inside; unheard, frankly unlistened to by peers in my circle, for so many years! Cyberspace had no boundaries nor limits nor, for that matter, standards to curb enthusiasm. And I dove into it, deciding to ‘create’ my own space, my own home, where everything dear to me could be deposited and hopefully one day, be recognised as my output… my contribution to the world.

Truthful expression of my cause – the Human Condition – got attention! It helped me to flow… not only on my pages but also in daily life and drew many people over to share their views as well, giving me an opportunity to learn some more… helping me grow… building my confidence… generating a cycle of increasing competence that I can unhesitatingly say, represents my life and my potential contribution further to the world.

It is absolutely great that so many of the portals are accessible, universally free, technologically supported by people motivated by a recognition of the almost chronic need for humans to connect and start talking, and not simply by profit, that language is not a hindrance with the variety of translation services online and English being a standard language in so many places and that the most curious, innovative, enthusiastic of us, are likely to be the ones to navigate our way to ‘this place’… to find each other for the purpose of co-creation, growth and … Life.

This is the avenue created for us with will, knowledge and till before now, unheard of collective power, to flood this world with practical wisdom which can be implemented easily… as women incredibly do every day.

And I am very happy to be a part of it!
