VOF Fans - VOF - WEEK SIX

I am a VOF Fan. Period. And I look forward to a journey together to learn more. I learnt a lot from the articles Nusrat posted in her journal. They were about organizations and about women in Kashmir. Though it is a contested state within the same country, I do not know anything about their language, culture, problems and specially about the women there. It was a great learning experience and I wrote back to her asking for their contacts so that I can write independently about these women and their organisations.

Slowly, I intend to gravitate to other members' journals too, so that my journey in writing becomes a journey in self-discovery and discovery of other peoples, places, cultures and issues. Dr. A. Abdul Kalam, a scientist who was till recently, the President of India, once said:

"A dream is not what you see in sleep. A dream is something that DOES NOT LET YOU SLEEP."

Dreams are there for realisation and fulfillment, not for fantasising and being afraid of. So, here is cheers to dreaming together so that our dreams do not allow us to sleep over them!
