About Me: I have been an educator, researcher and social worker for almost 15 years. I have a Ph.D. in Social Work along with a track record teaching as well as designing, leading and managing research and program evaluations for a wide array of social service organizations nationally and internationally. I am passionate about helping organizations build strong effective programs that truly make a difference in the communities they serve. My research efforts have been geared towards a wide range of populations and social issues, including— gender issues, specifically reproductive rights and economic sustenance of oppressed women groups, domestic violence issues, decision making in child welfare, parents involved in the child welfare system and issues relating to foster youth among others.
