Why is there suffering in life?

She takes care of 5 children with the help of a junior sister and others in her family who have been helping her ever since the death of her husband and her children are not going to school.

Here in our place, many women who know how to work lack the financial (material) means.

For example, I did tailoring but because I lack machines, I idle without a job, and others who went to school lack jobs. It is for this reason that a good number of women lead miserable lives.

As Congolese women, they make us suffer because they don’t listen to us. We are always crying and even our children suffer, that is why we do hard labour to bring up our children.

My sister please do not give up. Continue to persevere so that you are able to look after your children. We are with you in spirit and i can assure that one day every thing you will be in a much better situation. You have to continue to bring out these voices of the women such as yourself who are suffering so that we can get support from the international community and maybe your government will one day put institutions in place to help women like you. Take heart and god bless you coz you are not alone. We are here.

    Sibatu Nkwana,

Bringing up children is the hardest job there is and it takes courage and hope. I would love to hear more about how you feel and more details to your story. Keep writing and I look forward to hearing more.
