    Dear Sonam Yanqden,

I'm so glad you have joined World Pulse and have added your voice to this global community of women. Education is power! It's a great thing that you are a student and are aiming to get a degree that will help you realize your dreams. By becoming a World Pulse member, you've made an important step in learning more about where women stand politically, socially, and economically. I urge you to learn more about networking in our community by taking a look at the Getting Started Guide:

It always makes me happy to learn of someone who is interested in working in a helping organization, such as yourself. I believe this is the type of work that is the most noble, meaningful, and, ultimately, will make you the happiest. Helping others is where it's at! Thank you for caring.

I had to smile when you said you like doing pretty much everything but are not good at a particular thing. I can relate! I like to do all kinds of stuff but have never really pursued one thing in particular to get really good at it. I've made peace with that. I believe the important thing is to enjoy whatever it is you're doing--to give it your all and not worry about the results--it's the process that matters!

I'd also like you to know about two campaigns/opportunities that are currently underway at World Pulse that you can contribute to:

1- Participate in our current Digital Action Campaign on the theme "Girls Transform the World".

2- Write on the topic of Maternal Health for the chance to be published in our e-magazine.

I look forward to hearing more from you in the days ahead. Once again, welcome to the community and take care!

    In friendship,
