Introducing myself and my journal: My Dreams for Women

About Me:
I am a mother, wife, business owner living in Bend, Oregon. Although I consider myself to be an independent, blessed woman, I am searching for my voice in the world and hope that there are other women and stories that can help me find it. I heard Jensine Larsen speak yesterday and she described the need for western women to turn their comfy armchairs around and look and listen to what women in the rest of the world have to say. I aim to do this, beginning today.

I am also curious to learn about World Pulse because one of my projects involves connecting mothers in our town of Bend, Oregon through a social network called Bend Moms for Moms. Connecting the female voice, the mothering spirit, is a powerful action and I have seen its ripples in our small town. I can only imagine the power of voice that is held within this network and I am excited to be a part of it.
