Night Sky

Last night I was looking at the night sky and realized that what I was seeing was a very, very small piece of a universe so full of stars, galaxies, solar systems and planets that I can't possible begin to imagine its size. It was like I was living on a tiny drop of water in the ocean and I couldn't see the ocean for its immense size. This planet Earth is a small planet floating around in this immense space with all the other universal creations. I, on this planet in this univerrse, am no bigger than the tinest grain of sand. How could I possibly be so arrogrant as to think I am better than anyone else? How can anyone else be so arrogant as to think they are better than me? Dominance, control, beatings, war, rape, trafficking - what's the point? It seems to me that the only reasonable explanation is love, joy, compassion and supporting others the way they want to be supported. Why not?
