Dear CAB board and members

A strange feeling of nostalgia comes over me as I post my first message in this page: I remember those days when I was a Voice of Our Correspondent and used to post in our VoF group. That sense of communicating with a family! Ah!

Now, as I write, let me first welcome to every member who has joined this group. You are wonderful.

There are many, many cafes and groups in World Pulse, so don't be disheartened if our CAB group doesn't start swelling fast. I don't expect it to.

What I do expect is that, as a community that is committed to be a CONNECTOR (of people, thoughts, solutions) and a CONDUCTOR (of energy, inspiration and support), each one of us will stand true in reaching out to others and playing our dual role.

So, let us talk to our friends in our World Pulse network. Let us be accessible and approachable to them. And above all, let us be RESPONSIVE.

If we can do this, we will be a group World Pulse can indeed be proud of.

Did that sound preachy? Sorry if I did! I was just speaking from heart! You see, that's what World Pulse does to me ---make me open my heart!

I heart you, my dear ladies/girls/sisters. And I wait to hear back from you!

Thanks for the reminder, I am in Denver, attending meetings and we cant stop talking about all of us at every meeting.....and gathering in and around Denver.

I am so proud of all of us.....I am also proud to be among great women, who are making change happens in the corners of our Globe.....

Oh my sister Tosin

You make me smile! I am so happy to be in a group with you. I know you are busy and I can only imagine how difficult that will be considering the time gap between Lagos and Denver! Wishing you the best with everything!

Please let us know a little about your trip (I loved that story about discovering you own tie and die work in a local woman's home. How inspiration travels!) when you have time. Until then, take care of yourself! When you return and when you are free, I also will tell you about someone who is in India and who wants to collaborate with you in an arts project.

God bless you Tosin!

Stella-

Good to see this group forming, and thank you for getting it going. Managing a group or page is work, but how inspiring it is to see connections being made, and how grateful I am to be one of many who conducts action. I know what you mean by feeling 'preachy', but it does not come across that way. I have found that being graciously direct is effective for engaging the community. You excell at both.

Very much looking forward to what happens next!

Lovingly, your sister.

Of course we should come often around here. Let us do that.

I will start sharing more stuff. It is only a little hard to do as I am involved in a very difficult negotiation at this time, nationwide. But will do my best to come at leat once a day.

Love,

Jackie
