Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
I am working on my Masters in Mental Health Counseling, to compliment an undergraduate degree in Anthropology - both to guide future work with Native American communities. In my daily case management work I repeatedly see women without identity or power, entrenched in cyclical abuse and successful only in passing the tragedy of their legacy on to their children. Change for all women involves breaking the cycles of patriarchal dysfunction and abuse, and reclaiming the soul. I am particularly interested in genetic memory and healing intergenerational trauma.

My Passions:
Music, Art, History

My Challenges:
Connection

My Vision for the Future:
When we do real soul work, we live the lives we were meant to live, and bring healing and light to all the other lives we touch.

My Areas of Expertise:
Cultural Awareness, Communication (writing, photography)
