MY TRUE LIFE STORY

My story is a sad one. Am Christiana from a Cameroon an am 27 years of age, from a family of 10 and 1am the first daughter.
I was born in a caring and happy family, all of a sudden my mum felt seriously sick, she discover an object moving all over her body, then I was still in secondary school I and my father took mum to different hospital for treatment but to know avail, my dad spend so much money to see that my mum gets well, with all this she seems not to be improving. I had to drop out of school because of money to continue. I came to know that my mum illness is not a hospital case is a spiritual case, I took her to a church called Yaoundé apostolic church in ikom,Nigeria,a man of God prophesize to my mum by telling her she is under a spiritual captivity and the only person that can save her now is God. He now place my mum under dry fasting for two weeks before now my dad has spend all the money he had he was left with nothing so I took the responsibility from by dad then I was just 15 years, I stated doing odds jobs to take care of my mum and the family, it was a terrible situation, I joint her in fasting while doing this odds jobs because I wanted my mum to be alive, I wouldn’t want to loose a caring mother as young as I was, no body was ready to help us, every body turn their back on us but we where not left alone because God was with us. The villagers hated my family because we embrace God. There was a night my mum almost died, the I and the men of God pray to bring my mum back to life, God answers our prayers, that is the night I will never forget in my life, I give God all the glory.
Above all, God healed my mum for the period of four months, my suffering and stress did not go in vain, my mum is now strong and healthy, the villager saw that my family is worshiping a true and so many of them have repented. God has bless my family, even though we don’t have much, my younger ones have gone back school and I as the first daughter has National Diploma in science technology and am also working with with an organization called Global Youths Friends International Network(Gloyfinet) and Homemaking(Common Initiative Group) In Cameroon as a Volunteer. I decided to become a social worker because I want to change the lives of the less privilege and the poor since I am once a victim I know the pain involve when you come from a poor background. Please lets joints our hands together and fight poorverty, poorvery is even worse than HIV/AIDS, lets work and see how the lives of people will be change for the better.
