About Me: Photographic Career: Had attended the photojournalism workshop carried out by eminent photographer Raghu Rai. Had participated in thirteen days workshop of National Geographic photographer Steve Mccurry. Worked in Reuters International news agency for 5 years. She worked as a staff photographer in Gulf News, Dubai. Presently is working for International News Agency Associated Press (AP). My pictures have appeared in national and international vernacular dailies and magazines including Time, Washington Post, National Geographic web page, Newsweek, Herald Tribune, Sipa Press, Private magazines and others.

Nomination award in HPA (Humanity Photo Award) in China in the year 2011.

Merit Prize in YIPPA (Yonhap International Press Photo Awards in support of the UN Millennium Development Goals) in New York, USA in the year 2011.

Bronze Medal in 2nd International Competition of Female Photographer in Ukraine in the year 2011.

Awarded in contest “Yuva Hindustani” on the eve of 50 years celebration of India’s Independence, organized by the Flag Foundation of India and selected that picture for book, “Tiranga : A Celebration of The Indian Flag”.

My photographs selected as “picture of the week” of Time magazine’s online and several photographs selected as “Reuters’ picture of the year”.

South Asia's largest selling magazine "Better Photography" has selected me as one of the best woman photojournalist in India and they have published her work and interview in their cover story of August, 2005.

Workshop: does several workshops in all over India on photojournalism.

Jury: Selected as one of the juror in national and international photo contests.

Exhibitions: has done several solo and group exhibitions in India and abroad.
