Introducing myself and my journal: Peace Ministry

About Me:
I am seeking a way into the world to see what I have been afraid to look deeply into. I am tender for the suffering I have witnessed in my life. I have taught yoga and been a nurse for over 30 years. I am the Peace Minister for our spiritual center in Redding, CA, USA. I also have the privilege to oversee our women's group, the Sacred Sisters, at the center. I want to bring your voices into our sharing and bridge our understanding to global lifestyles and share with the ways to find resolution and understanding and healing. I find your stories rich with heart and courage and passion. I am committed to share the responsibility in seeking a higher understanding of what is and hold it with love. In the smallness of myself, I am disappointed in my body that holds pain and disappoint myself daily in not living up to my full potential spiritually and physically. Then I read the stories and expand out of my \"pity me woe is me\" and recognize how powerful we each are in putting our voices, our hearts, our intentions into a greater vision for the world. I am grateful for the opportunity to share in your heartfelt stories and in the prayers of peace that flow unceasingly.

My Passions:
Yoga and chakras, cats, reading, spiritual study, walking, my children, my husband

My Challenges:
Personally it is my deformed feet and sore joints that lead to other issues, spiritually it is staying committed to my intentions, socially it is dealing with those that express views that are highly critical and judgmental. I value integrity and truth.

My Vision for the Future:
A world that drops it's habit ways and is willing to open its view to embracing peaceful resolution and finding common ground.
