Women Livelihood Centers Exhibition

SPO is working with 10 women groups of Districts Naseerabad & Bolan where more than 250 women are enrolled and are a part of Livelihood Support Program. These centers are being run by the support of Local Resource Persons (LRPs) on ground.
After going through learning process and guidance given by Ms. Sumera Mehboob Program Officer SPO Quetta. They learned to polish their skills and learn more modern skills. They were able to make different things such as door mats, cup mats, dupattas, frocks, Wall hangs, decoration pieces, hand bags, cushions, mobile covers and many other items.
Sibi Mela (Exhibition) is a historical event of Baluchistan, where people come from all over Pakistan. Different stalls are arranged by different organizations and departments. It was a good opportunity for SPO to avail this chance and introduce women group handmade products and build linkages between them and the market.
SPO’s stall was inaugurated by Mr. Jan Muhammad Khajjak A.G.T.A, District President of Sibi Baluchistan. He appreciated the struggle and good initiative of SPO regarding women empowerment and livelihood resource development at their household level.
SPO is proud to share that these women are now empowered and have gained confidence for income generation. The only thing they need is support to polish their skills and given opportunity to play their role in development of the society.
