Wishes for a New Year

In Nepal if you go through the history you can find many courageous and miserable stories of our martyrs. Many mothers had lost their sons and daughters, sisters had lost their brothers, a newly married couple became widow and widower and children became orphans. Finally Nepal lost many good citizens who really wanted to develop the country. They fought for people’s rights several times such as 2007, 2045… 2063 B.S. and some of them died. Some people are disabled and they cannot even stand from their bed. In some families those we are disabled and killed were sources of income.

Martyred families suffered a lot after their death and disabled. Before the constitutional assembly which was held last year, highlighted to help martyrs, but after the election their stories were set aside. No one cares about martyred family. Political leaders forget who died for them. When I read an online newspaper Kantipur (www.ekantipur.com ) of Nepal, it makes me cry after reading political leaders actions and people’s situation. The main big parties assail each other rather than developing country. Though the political situation is becoming worsen people dreamt to have a bright future but their dreams are only as a dream.

I hardly remember my childhood, when I was child my mother used to say “if you make a wish in a new year, you will get whatever you want.” I know I won’t but today through the world pulse I am making my wishes………………….. It’s not only a wish of mine but also wishes of nepali.

Tomorrow April 14th is the New Year of Nepal. Happy New Year 2065 to everyone and May all our wishes come true.

As a citizen of Nepal, I wished there will be peace and equality in every corner of my country. I wished I could see all political leaders joining their hands together and make a New Nepal a better place to live. I wished all Nepali get to eat three times a day and would get chance to wear clean clothes. I wished people would have good times and fortunes for tomorrow. I wished I could see all those………………
