Women and girls are deprived of standard education in some many countries by their families and mostly are regarded to as people who should remain and end up in the kitchen. Most girls are not allowed to further in their educations, while the men are allowed to satisfy themselves. A friend of mine is struggling in this kind of situation, whereby her sibling who are men are allowed to further their education while she stays at home with frustration and voiceless to speak for herself boldly..She is an older friend of mine but is still deprived of accomplishing her educational needs and interest..Please help!!

    Dear Sunshine,

This is the inhuman situation that so many girls and women still face. It is a basic lack of human rights to not be able to choose what one does with one's life. Is this friend in your country? Are you able to spend time with her? Who is keeping her at home? Is it dangerous for her to leave the house, to be on the street even for part of a day? Is there a library or community centre nearby in which she can find support, information, teaching? Does she have any chance to have help getting access online, or getting access to read, or having someone she can talk with? These are just questions that race to my mind, hoping they might point to some change in the isolation and control she is under. She has a dear friend and strong ally in you, bringing her story to Worldpulse.

    Hello Sunshine,

It's definitely important to constantly increase awareness of the importance of girls receiving an education! The kitchen is not a woman's place. Both sexes should be receiving equal opportunity and thus fostering the same abilities and potential to make the world a better place. I am praying for your friend!

    With kindest regards,
