Hace unos días hemos conseguido el dinero para arreglar el techo de la futura sala digital, porque esta lloviendo tanto en Paraguay que los techos no estan aguantando y se pasa el agua y por supuesto que en esas condiciones no podíamos instalar la sala nueva!!. En realidad de nueva no tiene nada pero estamos igualmente muy contentas y en un mes espero que terminen de arreglar el techo y a podamos poner las meses y las seis computadoras que nos donó una ong española. Tenemos algunos miedos porque hay muchos casos de robos a salas informáticas, así que debemos tener mucho cuidado. Desde agosto a septiembre mi compañera y yo realizaremos 15 cursos de capacitación a 150 mujeres de 6 departamentos y al menos 60 municipios que se formaran como formadoras en igualdad de genero. ellas aprenderán a conectarse en red y a usar videos como herramientas de difusión. Estos diez videos son como capítulos de una novela donde en un pueblo se dan diferentes situaciones donde se visualiza la situación de la mujer en la sociedad paraguaya, especialmente rural. Bueno mas adelante sigo contando como sigue esta fiesta de las mujeres!!!

We move forward slowly, but steadily

A few days ago we've got the money to fix the roof of the future digital room, because it's raining so much in Paraguay that roofs aren't holding up and water leaks. Of course, we couldn't get the new room ready under those conditions!

As a matter of fact, there's nothing of \"new\" in it but we're just as happy, and I hope they finish the roof in one month time, so we can set the desks and the six computers donated by a Spanish NGO.
We have some concerns since there are so many cases of robbery to informatics centres, so we must be very careful.

From August to September, me and my co worker will be presenting 15 training courses for 150 women in 6 departments and at least 60 towns. They will be trained as gender equality instructors.
They will learn how to connect in networks and use videos as promotion tools.

These ten videos are like chapters of a soap opera. Different situations are presented in a town and it's possible to have a view through them of the situation of women in Paraguayan society, particularly in rural areas.

In the future I'll let you know how this women's party goes on!!!
