About Me: I spent 30+ years as a marketing executive in the for-profit world. Since retiring (early - recommend it!), I have become increasingly involved as a board member of international non profit organizations committed to education and development, especially for women and girls in developing countries. I have seen the power of microcredit - the loans, the moral support and the option for additional education and training - and craft co-ops and I am convinced the participants are better off for the opporunity.
