“The starting point of all human achievement is the development of the definite major purpose”. Irrespective of whether you are male or female, once you have a well define purpose you bare up for the task.

“The starting point of all human achievement is the development of the definite major purpose”. In my college days from form 1-5 I have always been a class proctor and yes I did my job well. But there has always this fight against a girl been a class proctor in my college. It reach a level that when I give instructions in class boys don’t follow saying a girl cannot control their actions.

“The starting point of all human achievement is the development of the definite major purpose”. My definite purpose was to prove that been a woman I can be a better leader and from our college days to ex-students association with my charisma and boldness I took up the challenge. Boys and bigger students could not be a barrier to me. The principal admired how I handle issues concerning my class and he made me the social prefect of the college.

“The starting point of all human achievement is the development of the definite major purpose”. I pushed through and work very hard in my duty post. How things came in pass during my reign like cultural nights, nights of arts and story telling’s, communion with other sister colleges (this things have never existed in the reign of my predecessors). The school administration was impressed and I was given the opportunity to represent my college in major events that directly concern my college. My social able, hospitable, simple was of communication gave the maximum respect I needed to prove the BRAVERY OF A WOMAN. Deep within me I was satisfied with my achievements. I reign in my college as a social prefect until I graduated in 2011.

“The starting point of all human achievement is the development of the definite major purpose”. Now here I am in the society I showcase the bravery of womanhood. In my first years in the university my class gave me a listening ear each time I stood up to speak. That was an encouragement because it prove I could do better. I actual remembered I promised to erect an ex-student association for my college when I am in the university. It seen difficult but I took the bold   step. I went back to my college and met the principal and after sampling my ideas, he was overwhelmed with joy and immediately supported me by paying for a radio announcement. Some days later, we schedule our first meeting for the 30th of May 2013 and the principal promised to be present. The boys in my batch protested against me and gave nick-names like “mami chuck skin” but it was rather a motivation to me. I became stronger I went as far as during Sunday announcement in churches and parents were happy and ready to send  their kids who were ex-students from that college.

“The starting point of all human achievement is the development of the definite major purpose”. In that meeting I was appointed president of the association but all the boys protested saying that I am a  woman and wouldn’t be able to handle the association but they were so astonished when I organized and led the association so well. The following were achieved;

  • Registration and Identification Of The Association

  • Printing of the ex-students association T-shirts

  • Printing of the ex-students material with the logo

  • Celebration of the 10th anniversary of the college

  • Creation of the various chapters that is; Bamenda chapter, Buea chapter, Yaoundé chapter and Dschang chapter.

“The starting point of all human achievement is the development of the definite major purpose”. I was elected the national president of the association and yes I do my job very well in good leadership. I am intermediary between the college and the society. I always wished to have a forum where   I can educate our growing girls about the bravery of a woman. So after having a dream were I saw myself talking to a multitude of women I decided to create a group just for women. A place where you can speak up and discourage gender inequality. The group was name WOMEN WITH POWER. Then I met a bigger group called WORLD PULSE where I can be more empowered in order to empower others.

“The starting point of all human achievement is the development of the definite major purpose”.

Women can change the world. We are never equal until we are equal.
