THE NIGERIA SITUATION

It is disheartening that over 200 young girls are still presently in the confines of the terrorist group! it is so sad that our country leaders are politicizing the situation rather than face it squarely. The various party groups kept apportioning blames; not mindful of the dangers the girls are facing each day. They might have been raped, beaten up, molested and God knows what else has been done to them. How many are dead now? What is their health and psychological conditions?

As a mother, I can't bear to imagine the pains their parents must be going through emotionally and mentally. The torture is indeed just too much.

My daughter is 12 years old and the she has become insecure in her own country. She constantly ask- "mummy, when will the girls be released to go home?, Will they be found? What if they are raped, what will happen if they become pregnant? what will become of the babies that will be born? Mummy please will I be save in school because I don't what the bad people to take me? So many agonized questions with little answers.#BRING BACK OUR GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!!

The bomb blast of Nyanya was close to a friend's house in Abuja. She said they lost a neighbour who went about her business,the woman was a widow and she sells fresh fish within the neighbourhood. On the said day, she was on her way to the cold room where she buys fish to sell in the village. Another woman in my local assembly who was also from Abuja said she lost her relatives back home and neighbours. What a sad experience we are going through in Nigeria.
If we are not safe in our country, where can we be safe?
