LES FEMMES DU SUD-KIVU EN MARCHE DE SOUTIEN ET DE REMERCIEMENT.

Après la reprise des dernières positions des rebelles du M23 par les Forces armées de la RDC (FARDC), des associations de femmes ont organisé ce mercredi 6 novembre à Bukavu une marche pour saluer le rétablissement de la paix au Nord-Kivu et l’action de l’armée congolaise et du chef de l'Etat Joseph Kabila Kabange.
Cette marche est effectuée sur la route Patrice Emeri Lumumba. Elle a commencé à la frontière (Bukavu-Rwanda), pour se terminer au gouvernorat, où un mémorandum a été déposé à l’autorité provinciale. La marche a été organisée par la Société Civile en collaboration avec le Ministère Genre, Femme et Famille.

«Nous soutenons nos vaillants soldats pour les batailles gagnées et nous encourageons les efforts du président de la République pour son engagement pour l’éradication d’un bon nombre des groupes armés sur le territoire national», a expliqué une manifestante.

Nous, les femmes du Sud-Kivu en general, et Maman Shujaa en particulier, réclamons également la fin des pourparlers de Kampala et nous invitons la communauté internationale à cesser d’exiger la poursuite de ces derniers parce que nous considérons ce travail sans objet.
D’autres groupes de femmes ont organisé des manifestations similaires à Goma dans la Province du Nord-Kivu, Kinshasa Capital de la RDC, Kisangani dans la Province Orientale,; tous pour la même cause.

En outre, ces femmes ont demandé que l’armée poursuite la traque des groupes armés encore actifs en Ituri (Province Orientale) et dans certains villages du Sud-Kivu.
Enfin, nous femmes du Centre Médiatique Mama Shujaa à Bukavu souhaitons nos condoléances à toutes les familles qui ont perdues leurs membres au cours de cette rébellion. Aujourd’hui c’est un jour nouveau.
Ensemble réunis en un seul amour, nous pouvons changer notre mode de vie.

Other women's groups have organized similar protests in Goma, North Kivu Province, the DRC capital Kinshasa, Kisangani in Oriental Province. About six hundred women sang songs in praise of the Congolese military.
In addition, these women have requested that the army continued the hunt for the remaining armed groups in Ituri (Eastern Province) and in some villages in South Kivu.
