The personal as political ?

Being asked to speak is already in term controversial because when one speaks some ones reduce him/her to speechless because he/she is from another ethnicity , another mind-set , another ground ... There is fear/hate from otherness and this fear/hate some times leads toward denial and rejection . Many seterotypes on human nature as including violence and hatred as killing for survival and for ruling kingdoms and nations. This isnt our nature i think , to kill and to violate . We want to question systems . For this reason i speak for myself leading the path toward salvation from greed . Some times cages are sharp made of lack / violation of resources , other times cages and chains are abstract migth be made of gold for the blindness of minds . In both cases our voices have to speak up and loud because border lines are settled to make us shut our mouths and conceal , there is no lead toward indulgence it is through boldness that we will scratch the seed and reborn from ashes . I came here to world pulse seeking this kind of space and interaction so oneness for me is a sense of wiring consciousness and translating differences and the meaning is an ongoing dialogue .

Until recently women were not able to speak out loud and clear, because there were always other people that spoke for them. Now is the time for us to tell our stories and share our solutions for a better world. It's your time to shine! Speak out and loud.

The distance of otherness and the courage to interact draws us closer.

I appreciate your story and the way you tell it. You're right that sometimes people highlight differences and ignore our voices. Thank God for WorldPulse!

    Thanks Transformation for sharing this.

I love poetry and your piece is so poetic, so it is short but full of so many themes.

'border lines are settled to make us shut our mouths and conceal' the power of World Pulse is to facilitate a questioning and crossing of borders, borders in thought and ideologies through liberating women's voices.

We hope your journey as a Voices of Our Future applicant will be significant to your personal journey and that of the people you reach.

I am curious about how you cam to this platform and some of the issues you have observed or dealt with along your way.

    Best regards,

    Lombe

Speaking up for a woman is always difficult in a patriarchal society where she's been raised to keep quiet at all times. So wonderful to have you with us on WorldPulse. Living is a political statement too. Get stronger and start the fight you feel you can pursue.
