For the women

If it is not Web 2.0, I would be passing my time learning how to make use of my time right now. I don’t like reading newspapers though reading helps make my mind completely functional. I wouldn’t want to watch TV news because I think TV is overall just a waste of time. When my dear friend introduced me with this website where you can completely indulge yourself with your interest alongside raising your voice, I didn’t wait a single minute. It is better than those newspapers where you hear what they want you to hear, it is far better than TV news, where for the sake of entertainment, exploit the actual news. Web 2.0 is not just a global connecting base, it is for me a way out of self-centered crowd. It lets me speak and lets others hear, which is the other way around in my world. I could also hear what others want to say without interruption and I’m glad to say that they seem to be really positive. I could also connect to the people around the world otherwise would have been close to impossible. I am most happy to learn that I am a part of this great network. It is also an amazing discovery, since only a decade ago this would have been just a dream. Beside being the global network, it is also a women’s empowering ground. Every country’s female population goes through problems created by not being able to be heard. In my country, this might just be the top ten problem, if anyone has the opportunity to look closely. Women are underestimated no matter how developed they have become in Nepal. Even though they trust us for a specific task, there would just be a glitch of doubt on us over a man. I believe women are delicate creatures in the planet but that’s what makes them stronger. Despite being subtle, women can conquer the most difficult task. I believe what my grandmother could do, my grandfather wouldn’t even be close to achieve. My father would completely fail to function without my mother’s presence. The uncle next door wouldn’t be my neighbor if it wasn’t for her daughter who saved him from financial breakdown. My friend’s family wouldn’t be a happy one if she hadn’t sacrificed her education just for the sake of taking care of them. So women can do just about anything and even more if they get respect as much as any man. This network is here because it believes in everything I have stated. Web 2.0 makes us important, lets our voice get heard around the world, and lets us connect to other women who may have gone through the same problems and I admire those women who suggests and support. No man could realize the bond that web 2.0 have created between women around the world. We have advantage of being a woman and this web 2.0 is just one privilege that we are fortunate to have.
