Where there is love, there is life and there is hope.

Before i begin to narrate this beautiful strory on what gives me hope, i would like us to agree that we are sisters and to go on to say that you and i are all we need.

A sister returning from a meeting in the US called and informed us, the members of the World Pulse sisters in Bamenda Cameroon and arranged a meeting at her office. After all the warm greetings, we settled down on our chairs. She brought out a marker, drew a heart shape, made dots overflowing the heart shape. Then she wrote under "If all love could be one love, what a big love". She went ahead and removed a white piece of material and at the center, there was this big, colourfully designed heart. She said it was a sister from Nigeria who had given her at her return trip when she had dropped by her place in Nigeria to see her. Then a warm feeling inside my heart triggered my interest. Right there, there, that was it- Love. The bright light at the end of the long dark tunnel brought together by love. I would also like to add that most of us had come to know each other through internet that allowed us to meet on WP which I can assure you was created because of love.

It did not end there, when the meeting was over,  she handed to me an envelop and said a sister from Nigeria gave her to give me. Mere words cant begin to express the joy that came over me. Now, my and i have faced a lot of challenges in 2018. There had reached a point where we couldent even afford food or medication and we were internally displace for a moment. We had lost our jobs because of the crisis and survived by faith. So you can immagine the joy and relieve that envelope brought to us. I had been chatting with this sister from Nigeria on messenger just like that. That was love.

With the crisis that brought all kinds of worries, the death of my mother on the 18th of November, the loss of my nephew on the 26th of November and all other ills people face in the society, most especially women who have to always look over their solders walking along lone paths to make sure someone will not jump out and rape them, the fear and disappointment they feel when the one who is suppose to be their partner turns out to be a predator, young teenage girls dragged off from their homes under the eyes of their parents  and concern in the name of marriage, women dying during child birth because of lack of medical facilities and other things, and the list goes on and on.

What gives me hope in the midst of all this dark happennings? It is Love. It is because of mutual love that organisations, common initiative groups and foundations are formed to bring resources together to create centers to take care of some of these ills of the society we live with. Is it a center for abused women? Rape victims and the list also goes on and on. Right there, that is our hope. It is love at the center. My hope is you and I and the love we share.

I want to thank all the sisters out there showing love because,

"If all love could be one love, what a big love".
