Education and Awareness: what actually mean??

We always say, education is most important to be aware but I am in dilemma is this right version!!!!
Dear WP sister, going to share this story about the sexual harassment by college teachers to the girl students during examination. It’s not more than one week this heinous incident was happened in one of our college Trichandra College. Students were attending master degree second year’s exam at Trichandra college hall. All most all the girls attended their paper with scary feeling. Four hours long exam they attended with uncomfortable situation. It’s because two invigilators harassed girl students so odiously. Those invigilators were zoology teacher of Trichandra College I mean so called educated.
It came to know in public when exam hour ended each of girls shared their experience what they felt during exam and they got know that they all were mistreated by those teachers. Then they started to raise voice against this incidents, they informed to college administration, they informed woman commission, human rights organizations and informed to media too.
They later created a group in social network Face Book to fight against and to spread the incidents to more people. I became known about this when someone added me to this group and we do discuss a lot. http://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/226895574024520/ you can check the link and get more information and be a member to support this movement.
Now come to the topic, when this incidents happened girls informed to the administration and one of female staff (educated?) scolded to girls saying “don’t you feel any shame to inform such disgraceful incidents? How could you say they touched your body, they tried to hug you, they wanted to touch your private parts? You should have humiliation to say with public” (one of the students has shared this in Face Book’s group discussion).
But she again shared, when her mother having not more than school education and not from the big city has encouraged her to fight against but people who are so called educated has this stereotype attitude towards sexual harassments’. What’s the education really mean??? Is this just to get paper certificate!!
Just it for now,, let’s have discuss and fight against sexual harassment.
Sorry for language mistakes.
