AWARENESS BRINGS STRENGTH

The story is happened in 1989 in Ulickal,Kannur District of Kerala India. The Kerala Government passed a Law to procure cashew nuts from cultivators to protect the Labourers but the LAW was the Violation of Fundamental Rights of People. The law said that no cahew farmers cant keep 25 kgms of RAW cashew nut in their house or the cultivators cant bring to shops in vehicles or by Headload. The cashew cultivators cant keep more than 25 kgs. of cashew nuts at their house also. The power of the Law the police was entering the houses and searching for cashew nuts in nights even though there are only women in the houses. This was a HARRASMENT against women but no one was sying against the deed of police due to FEAR.

We have started a Movement called India Cashew Growers Union\" and started to work for the Farmers.First we published WHAT IS CASHEW PROCUREMENT ACT 1986,in Malayalam Language ,the people understood the act  was TOTRALLY against them and it is against the understanding of Constitution. The second we did to publish the RIGHTS OF PEOPLE IF THGEY ARE ARRESTED, here we have given all informations about Arrest, who can arrest in what circumstances, who will give bail, where the polkice can search etc. After getting this Book reading this book andLocal awareness a women at ulickal asked the police when they reached home to search the  House. The lady asked the police \"Please stop if you want search my Home I have no objuction but show me the SEARCH warront from the Court to search my house which room to search. The police officers returned with out saying anything .THIS IS THE EXAMPLE OF AWARENESS, the IMPORTANCE to know ,study our Criminal and civil Laws.

The \"Law \" was crashed by the High court since it was a total violence of Fundamental Rights.

So we can work together for a better Future
