reflections and mirrors

do you feel? right now, do you feel?

yes

what do you feel?

happy.

Then today as I'm walking through my hormonal tirrades I question my happiness and in doing so conclude that I am not happy, or don't know if I'm happy and don't know what it will take to be happy, ending in silence and silent frustration, on the verge of tears and not even knowing how this wave occured. Honesty, seeing your self in the mirror as you are is best, is needed, is a necessity to correct or place in order fragments that have gone astray. Knowing that there is more to be done, more air to breathe and passion and knowledge to excrete and sink. A person can not always do what he wants, but a dignified person will never do what he does not want, what he does not believe in. I need to be better to myself, love myself and listen to my innards. No more of this negative nonsense, things are as they are, or are they? The change can start with one thought, with one word, to create a better world. There can be creation through the hands, through the energy that bends and shapes the mallable and presses hard in resistence. Then there's a world where all worlds fit created by the word, respected by and with the word, resisting the savages that greed has beckoned and men have swallowed whole; resisting firmly and never easing the grip of communication.

so who am I?

"I think therefore I am."

I speak therefore I am. I breathe therefore I am. I act therefore I am. I live therefore I am. I learn therefore I am. I listen therefore I am.

"I am that"

I am that which moves like waves and bears a heavy and loud silence but this silence evacuates in haste as an erruption of laughter tears at my seams before exploding onto the walls around me. I am you, you are me but we are not we. I am resisting. I am the homosexual man who can not get married because the law forbids but I resist and I keep smiling. I am the Palestinian woman living in Israel who is marginalised and has to wait at check points for hours and can not enter Israeli only roads. I am the student pulling out thousands in school loans to get an education only to pull the sleeve of debt above me once I've graduated. I am a mirror and also a reflection. Those who fight and struggle, resist and persist see me and see themselves. When I look at you, when I look at them, I see myself. Therefor I am you and you are me.

We're mirrors and reflections.

"We are also the light needed for them to exist."
