Can anyone identify the plant on Front cover of Sum/Fall 2009?

Posted October 31, 2009 from United States

I happened upon the World Pulse magazine last night in our small local bookstore. This week I've been reading and sharing The New York Times Magazine, which highlights women's issues and their place in the world economy. I've ordered a personal copy of Pray the Devil Back to Hell, and will be passing that along to a small group of women here in Sylva. I'm proposing that the group purchase the public viewing DVD. That is the seed being planted. World Pulse is mighty fertilizer. Thank you for providing so many "next steps" and service opportunities. I sponsor sisters through Women for Women, and see more "learning and listening" time being invested thru this comprehensive website. My gratitude to those who have made this portal possible.

Can anyone identify the plant that the woman is holding on the front cover of Summer/Fall 2009 issue?

I'm curious how other women may have organized viewings of Pray the Devil DVD in their communities.

I have been eager to watch Pray the Devil Back to Hell. When the film screened here in Portland, I was unable to make it. But I'm excited to hear that I can now order a copy from their website and share it with my friends and family. What a great idea - to hold my own, local screening.

I'm so glad you picked up a copy of World Pulse Magazine at your local bookstore and made your way to our community! I hope that you'll continue to share your ideas and passions with us.

    Cheers, Jade
