When Families gangs up, things begin to happen

The birth of any idea comes with pangs of logistical and financial challenges; like a journalist working out the 5Ws &H for his article so is the challenge of implementing a project idea.

The Why; in trying to package the proposal, who to talk to, When &How to start all come into play.

This week’s class is key for all of us who are new to World Pulse and are trying to learn the ropes of implementing a project and becoming a community leader.

Pulse wire is giving me the opportunity to be my brother’s keepers; I can participate online to call on governments to change certain policies and aid agencies to look at marginalized communities through the action centre.

Pulse wire is forcing us to think outside the box, and move away from the notion that I must have the skill, finances and be fully equipped to operate everything on my own. The opportunity to network and share ideas through the community tool kit makes me believe that I can do this because my online family has my back.

In last weeks assignment, I mentioned my vision of raising street families and also the two organizations that am working with that cater for children. It has always been my wish that these children have the stationery they need to study and at such a tender age they can start learning computers to keep up with other children globally and most especially in developed states. Presently only selected schools, have access to computers.

I am encouraged to know that it is possible to have you; my family come in and be able to sponsor a child to go through primary – high school by using the various tools provided by world pulse.

You can be sure that in the coming weeks, I will be utilizing the skills available online to call my family to action.
Like Rhoda, world pulse empowers us to make a difference.
