Every girl has dreams of becoming somebody tomorrow!

Some realise their dreams, some dreams change as they grow up, but others never have the opportunity to chase or change their dreams due to factors such as poverty, traditional values, early pregnancy, early marriages, gender inequality amongst others.

According to UNESCO Institute of Statistics (2016), 70% of Cameroonian girls are illiterate. 

Another study revealed that 50% of girls in rural areas are illiterates.

The government is doing its part in ensuring accessibility of primary education to all; however, its resources are limited to reach every individual. 

Therefore, the civil society can support the government and the international community in achieving its goal of universal access to education
