What drew me to this site was the topic. Nigerian Women. From the little I have read, in my mind I see the Nigerian woman where we American women were in the 50's and even the 60's. While there are some Nigerian women who have high positions and are empowered, it appears to me that it is more typical to find fear for many obvious reasons. As a result even though this population wants to make changes, wants to stand up and contradict the status quo, they are afraid and if not done properly, it could backfire on them. I would like some feed back on this. While I am not an expert on making cultural changes I am very gifted at helping women build inner power, the foundation to every soul. I hope I can contribute in this way to this group. Please may I hear from some of you.
