Opening Travel and Trade along the New Silk Road - September 2012 Update

Posted September 12, 2012 from United States

Knowledge management is so important today with access to the internet bringing more people awareness of what is happening in the world around us. I have attached for quick reference a document with numerous links to articles that can be found on the Asian Development Bank website. < >

This post is aimed at helping to get goods and people moving through the countries of the New Silk Road, urging members of the World Pulse platform to get involved. For more than a decade, the Asian Development Bank has promoted the Central Asian Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC), building road, rail and air infrastructure through 10 countries.

An important question that arises are how business leaders are able to influence their governments to create incentives able to help their private sectors competitive and able to move goods, services and people easily across the borders along the newly renovated infrastructure of the New Silk Road.

It would be helpful to learn about problems being encountered by members of this platform....
