12/12/12 MAKE A VIDEO

I want to encourage all my friends to make sure their video cameras (including cell phones) are charged up and ready to make a 1 to 3 minute video on Tuesday, December 12th.

I have included a message from the One day on Earth producers to give you an idea of why it is important to document your stories. Pay special attention to contacting friends you may have in the countries listed below:

==========
Hello One Day on Earth Filmmakers!
We are only a few days away from 12/12/12. This is shaping up to be the biggest collaboration yet, but we still need your help.
1) COVER THE WORLD
There are still a few places in the world we feel need more participation to see a truly global picture. We need your suggestions and referrals in a few hard to reach areas ASAP. Do you know anyone in:
Europe: Luxembourg, Andorra, Bosnia, Liechtenstein, Macedonia
Africa: Guinea-Bissau, Djibouti, Liberia, Cote d'Ivorie, Benin
Caribbean: Antigua and Barbuda, Grenada, St. Lucia
Americas: Belize
Central Asia: Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan
Middle East: Bahrain
Asia/Pacific: Nauru, Maldives, North Korea, Timor-Leste
Let them know we need them! Send them to http://www.onedayonearth.org
2) FILM OUR THEME
This year we have suggested to film the answer to the questions: What do you have? And what do you need? We'd love to hear your heartfelt words on the subject, but we really hope you document brilliant visuals to answer the questions as well. We are very excited by the diverse dialogue this will create and we hope you are as well.
3) CAPTURE LIFE CHANGING EVENTS
12/12/12 could be a life-changing day for some of us . If this day is
particularly important for you--be it a wedding, potential child birth or anything personally significant--please let us know!
4) INVITE MORE PEOPLE
Keep inviting others to our project via facebook! It takes a bit of clicking, but it really is helping our effort to achieve global coverage. https://www.facebook.com/events/410189979054153
5) iPHONE APP
If you don't have a camera, but you do have an iphone, check out the Vyclone app. With this app, you can directly send your iphone videos to the archive.
