Hi friends. Its been a while since I connected with you. I have been inundated with work, planning a Women's Seminar etc. I opened a teaching Ministry in 2011 and it is growing steadily. I am in the proces of introducing a short psychosocial course. This course will basically benefit the communities at large, including pastors, congregatons, etc. It is aimed at the less fortunate. As mentioned earlier, this is a psychosocial initiative. It is a counselling short course to give people the enablement to deal with spiritual as well as understand in a basic way, the psychology of a person. This will greatly help those who have suffered all kinds of atrocities be able to deal with situations, be able to counsell a family member in times of loss of a loved one, it will help pastors know how to offer help to their members who have been bruised mentally. The communities which i work in are basically poor dwellings who are never able to afford counselling and psychiatrists/psychologists fees. I have noticed how wounded these communities are, can you then imagine the children they raise? The reason why i am writting this is to seek asistance of anyone who might know where I can appeal for grants or assistance funding to start this beneficial project.
