Introducing myself and my journal: Educate girl child of Africa

About Me:
The Women’s Initiative for Prosperity (WIP) is a Civil Society Organization with Community based projects in Kamuli, Eastern Uganda.

WIP’s Vision is a society that recognizes the needs and rights of the women and children/youth.

Its mission is to improve the social economic well being of women and children through economic empowerment, health care, human rights awareness and education support.

WIP Mission & Vision are guided with the values of love, care, human rights and new ideas.

We use a holistic approach while helping the community. Our development Programs are not only focused on restoring people and their communities to their pre-crisis conditions, we also focus on establishing a process that enables those in need to build a self sufficient and self sustaining lifestyle as a community. Our development programs strive to permanently break the bonds and cycle of poverty of individuals, families and their communities.

Therefore we encourage volunteers to work closely with the WIP Staff in looking out into possible avenues to help the community. Our current program includes, but is not limited to the following sponsorship opportunities:

My Passions:
Activating for women rights and children

My Challenges:
Getting enough resources to support

My Vision for the Future:
To see women live a happy life

My Areas of Expertise:
Micro finance, Sexual reproductive health and rights
