“Apathy disgusts me” This is principal phrase of Tanya Daud in her Facebook’s profile, and it must be truth, because in spite her age, she is a passionate woman involved in some many projects at the same time.
Tanya it is only 23 years old, but she speaks like a woman of 30, and that’s not all, because thanks that her mother is from Pakistan and her father from India, she is able to speak in Urdu (Pakistan) and Hindi (India) and in perfect English.
Graduated in Communication, she spent 18 years in United Arab Emirates and there she started her first experience in journalism. Now she is ready to back to Pakistan to join to that people who is fighting for a change in her country
“Media are showing the negative part, but Pakistan is much more than that, people there are very resilient and they are trying to live a normal life”
Tanya’s dream is to become a “women of action” in journalism, art and culture to show to the world that “the change is possible… “change is happening right now in Pakistan.
Definitely, she is in her way to get her dreams and goals. In December 2009, Pakistan will remember 2 years of the tragic assassination of her Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, only a week after of 24 Tanya’s birthday.
Hopefully, at the end of this year, we will see one of her most important projects: taking root by building bridges in South Asia
