Education About Emotional Language

We talk constantly about educating women about themselves, but we don't talk about educating boys about women, nor do be discuss educating women about men. This seems to be the root of many of the problems facing our world today; lack of understanding.

I was horrified to hear a young female relative talk about how she already knows how to get out of trouble if pulled over in a car by a policeman. She then demonstrated by pushing her flat chest out and flirtatiously batting her eyes at the fantasy of an office. This child was only eleven years old, with no idea of what constitutes rape, but she had already learned one method of precipitating it by implied contract. If a woman has broken the law and wants to offer her sexual favors in exchange for being relieved of the penalty, she must be willing to keep up her end of the bargain. People below the age of adulthood (and some impaired others) cannot consent, either directly or indirectly because they are not legally responsible for the impact of their own actions.

It is common in my country that girls who consent to sex and then are found out by their fathers, accuse the male of having raped them, no matter the age or status of the male. I warned my son about this from before the time he reached puberty. My son, when he had not yet reached adulthood, came to me to with his girlfriend to ask my opinion when his girlfriend was asked to falsely testify to the rape of a friend who had consented to sex with a boy at a party. I reiterated my speech that I had often given him to them, explaining how unfair it would be to this young man to have the rest of his life ruined in order to save this girl from punishment by her policeman father. My son's girlfriend refused to testify, as did other witnesses to the truth.

In terms of intoxicated people, whether with alcohol or other mind-altering substances, we must all be taught that these substances reduce our brains to functioning on animal instinct and that we must all protect ourselves (often by surrounding ourselves with others) when faced with the intoxication of others.

We (as do all animals) speak much language without words. We must, in order to protect ourselves, sons, daughters, and husbands teach all how to read these signs from each other and how to handle the messages that we believe we are \"hearing.\" It is foolishness to continue to laugh about how \"Men Are From Mars and Women are from Venus.\" We are all on earth to realize the full potential of our human natures. We must be taught common emotional language and self control (and redirection) that comes with the ability to reason in order for our species to survive.
