Not All Mothers "Love" Their Children

We must stop the myth that all homo sapiens mothers love their children. Just as there are dogs and cats that birth babies and have no mothering skills, there are female homo sapiens that are the same. Feral homo sapiens have little chance of becoming fully human, with the capacity and the skills for responsibility, commitment, and compassion. They are able to act only in their own self-interest.

In a perfect world, the hormones that are supposed to create a sense of bonding and well-being between mother and child turns into human \"love.\" Perhaps the problem is that we need to define what we expect from \"love.\" For myself, the term means responsible, committed, compassion in action. The emotion is simply hormones, which eventually diminish in every relationship.

Mothers who give their young sons over to teaching of war and their daughters to prostitution are feral animals themselves, doing whatever they must do for their own physical survival. Until women are willing to stand between those who would harm their children and their children, they are not fit to be called human beings, much less loving mothers.
