Introducing myself and my journal: One Love

About Me:
Dr. Denise Hall is a 1992 graduate of Tuskegee University, School of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation, she entered a one year veterinary residency at the University of Zimbabwe, Clinical Veterinary Sciences, Harare, Zimbabwe through the International Foundation for Education & Self-Help (IFESH) Program as their first veterinarian. Her emphases in this endeavor were international, large animal, community health, and wholistic veterinary medicine. She received her Certificate in Veterinary Acupuncture through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS) in 1998. The earlier aspects of her veterinary career has been in the capacity of regulatory veterinary medicine through the USDA-Veterinary Services and Food Safety Inspection Service, and in research (meat, dairy, fibre) at the E. Kika de la Garza Institute for Goat Research, Langston, Oklahoma.

She is founder/director of the not-for-profit/profit Mother Earth Reverence Farms LLC and owner of Wellness Veterinary Clinic in northern Colorado. Mother Earth Reverence Farms LLC is a ministry called to sustainable agriculture and living primarily for communities of color with a focus on womyn and children. Currently, goat, pig, llama, cattle, and poultry production consume their animal husbandry activities. In 2010, they intend to incorporate aquaculture production (fish farming), apiculture (beekeeping), and lavender as a specialty crop.
Wellness Veterinary Clinic functions to provide veterinary care for Mother Earth Reverence Farms, and, in addition, functions as a community veterinary clinic focused on wholistic methodologies such as acupuncture and nutrition.

Dr. Hall is a candidate minister fulfilling the credentialing process for the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations (UUA). She attends Iliff School of Theology in Denver, Colorado pursuing a master’s of divinity degree with an emphasis on justice, peace, and reconciliation. She is the part-time intern minister at Foothills Unitarian Church in Fort Collins, Colorado.

As a community steward and project weaver, Dr. Hall is the adult advisor for DRUUMM YA-YA (Diverse Revolutionary Unitarian Universalist Multicultural Ministries Youth & Young Adults of Color), Northern Plains Cluster Coordinator for the UUA’s Mountain Desert District - Justice Ministries, board member for Greeley Area Habitat for Humanity, and chaplain for the Hispanic Women of Weld County.

Learning to have deep rest and relaxation

Co-Creation of balance and harmony for Mama Earth along with her inhabitants!
