Call to stop violence against women

Violence against women must now stop.
In my community there are a lot of cases that I have observed where women suffer as a result of violence perpetrated on them by close relatives or husbands.
Recently, a young woman married to a medical doctor in the country fell pregnant with her second child. The husband started to have extra marital relationships with other women. When the wife complained she was verbally and physically abused.
Each time the wife was out, the husband would bring some women home. The husband gives the excuse that the wife is not educated.
The wife thought the situation was going to change after giving birth, bit instead it got worse. The wife has become used to the situation.
Its high time men must respect their woman. Violence against women must come to an end.
