My Assets

One dream I have for my community is the social and economic empowerment and development of women in my community. My dream is to empower thousands of women with skills; knowledge and information that will enable them live a life free of violence.

I am proud of my leadership, networking and project management skills which I can use to empower my community members, source for and manage resources meant for my community in a sustainable way. I am inspired most by the public spaces in my community such as the market center and the community field which I use to conduct trainings, workshops and artistic events. I also feel safe in these spaces. To navigate through school and life, I have always asked advice from my mother. This is because she understands my goal in life and is always available to give me advice whenever I need it. As a woman leader in my community, I am willing to use some of my resources to attract individuals and organizations willing to contribute to issues I am passionate such as socio-economic opportunities for disadvantaged women in my community.
