Introducing myself and my journal: United States: The SLOW Road to Equality

About Me:
I am a 26 year old white male married, no children. I have a bachelor's degree from the University of Southern Indiana with majors in U.S. History, International Studies, and Spanish Language and culture. My wife of six months has truly been an inspiration to me, as she has opened my eyes to the injustice women still suffer here, in what is supposed to be the greatest nation on the planet. The combination of being with her, and the recent passing of my mother have combined to create a sense of the unfairness life brings, it has also awakened a realization in me that I have it pretty damn good compared to 99% of the planet. I hope that one day I will be able to teach in a university classroom to open the eyes of others to the civil injustice that exists all over the world, and hopefully to some degree, change what is here in the U.S. for the betterment of all.
