In 2002, I obtained a fellowship from the Ford Foundation to study for a master’s degree in Environment and Development at the University of Reading in the UK. Since the completion of my studies, I have returned to my lectureship position at the Department of Physics, Bayero University Kano. I have continued to be involved in community activities side by side with my professional pursuit.
