Privileged, by any outside standard, advantaged white girl, who struggles with isolation and depression, who survived somehow, more trauma than could be born by one small child, in the way of isolation from her sisters, contempt and violence at a very young age, at the hand of her father who didn't know any better and had his own wounds and uncontrollable rage.

I grew up moving a lot. Was lucky enough to be a part of many different cultures as a kid. My mother worked for USAID, and we moved every two years, predominantly in developing countries. They included: Singapore, Indonesia, The Gambia, Burkina Faso, Ecuador, Jamaica and Bangladesh. I am extremely passionate about empowering women and girls. I also have a passion for youth and education.
