I worked for sometime in Senegal, West Africa where I conducted archaeological research for my doctoral dissertation. I now work as a Senior Research Associate examining how to reduce disparities in health care, especially among African immigrants in the U.S. I hope to expand this work to West Africa, focusing on women and access to health care and health education.
