60 Year Chicano (Mexican-American Indio) activist. My focus is por vida activism-- connecting our communities to our essential life-affirming nature and our ability to evolve into being individuals, families and communities that are more courageous and loving.
I have labeled myself an independent change agent working to highlight people around the world that have a mission to improve our world. I support an array of causes including organic/non-gmo foods, clean water, human rights, animal welfare, and more. Staying focused and not getting discouraged by the inequities in the world.
Edith Asamani is a Christian. She comes from Ghana where she has been an active youth volunteer with a child rights and youth media advocacy group called the Children and Youth in Broadcasting-Curious Minds for nine (9) years.
I come from the remote eastern hills of Nepal. Most of the people in my village are still unaware of electricity and means of transport. However, I consider myself lucky to get opportunity to study and explore.
I am new to Pulse Wire, and am very excited to launch into this vast universe of new learning. I will be mentoring a Voices of Our Future citizen journalist this year and can't wait to find out who she is, hear her story, and begin working with her! I will treasure this experience, and will grow from it expansively while I support my mentee on her incredible journey.
I founded Musical Reflections in 1999. Our mission is to provide products and services to enhance and support the healing journey. I am a certified harp practitioner and have played the harp at the hospital and hospice bedside of hundreds of patients.
I am thrilled to be a mentor with the Voices of Our Future program. My interest in making connections with people from other cultures started when I was a child when relatives, visiting after their adventures in far corners of the globe, inspired in me a longing to see the world for myself. I started traveling on my own at age 18 and have visited, lived and worked in other countries.
