I have been married for last 15 yrs now and mother of two beautiful children. I am challenged by husband who is alcoholic and physically abuses me. I am scared of continuing to live with him but am also not in a position to decide to leave him. I also feel the responsibility of two kids. Please support me and leting me know the options that are available to me.

The Afghan Women’s Writing Project began as an idea during novelist Masha Hamilton’s last trip to Afghanistan in November 2008. Her interest in Afghanistan was sparked in the late 1990s during the Taliban period, when she understood it was one of the worst places in the world to be a woman.
